Georgia HOBY has no paid employees and is a 100% volunteer run operation. Over 8,000 volunteer hours a year go into making GA HOBY happen. As such, volunteers, financial contributions, and gift-in-kind donations are the very life blood of Georgia HOBY.

Can you speak to students at a business leader lunch? Can you share your professional experience on a HOBY panel of speakers? Can you lead a group of students during a weekend seminar? Are you great with marketing, fundraising or event planning? Can you find some other way to help out? If so, we have a need for your time, talent and energy.

Donations

It takes $200 a student and over 1,400 meal servings to make this amazing weekend happen.  We couldn’t do it on our own and we need your help now more than ever.
Your support allows GA HOBY to reach over 200 high school sophomores every year. 

Evaluations of HOBY alumni have shown:
   • 98% reported that as a result of HOBY, they know what steps to take to be a better leader.
   • 98% reported that because of HOBY, the had better understanding of the importance of volunteering and 96% stated that because of HOBY, they were more likely to serve in a volunteer organization.
   • 98% said that HOBY encouraged them to think independently.
   • 98% believed they could make a difference in their communities and many of the participants set goals related to community volunteerism at the conclusion of the seminar.
