Georgia HOBY has no paid employees and is a 100% volunteer run operation. Over 8,000 volunteer hours a year go into making GA HOBY happen. As such, volunteers, financial contributions, and gift-in-kind donations are the very life blood of Georgia HOBY.
It takes $200 a student and over 1,400 meal servings to make this amazing weekend happen. We couldn’t do it on our own and we need your help now more than ever. Your support allows GA HOBY to reach over 200 high school sophomores every year.
Evaluations of HOBY alumni have shown:
• 98% reported that as a result of HOBY, they know what steps to take to be a better leader.
• 98% reported that because of HOBY, the had better understanding of the importance of volunteering and 96% stated that because of HOBY, they were more likely to serve in a volunteer organization.
• 98% said that HOBY encouraged them to think independently.
• 98% believed they could make a difference in their communities and many of the participants set goals related to community volunteerism at the conclusion of the seminar.

Georgia HOBY Levels of Sponsorship
Visionary: $1500 +
Donating on a visionary level, your company will receive a whole page ad in our seminar program book (these are distributed to students, parents, schools, and other sponsors), special recognition on our website, your company name/logo (large) on our seminar t-shirt, your company name/logo on our signs, and recognition presented at the closing ceremony.
Also, should you be interested, a company representative will be invited to attend the weekend program and will be made an honorary team co-leader. Or, you may request a visit from a Georgia HOBY attendee(s), sharing the experience.
Empowering: $800 - $1499
Donating on an empowering level, your company will receive a half page ad in our seminar program book (these are distributed to students, parents, schools, and other sponsors), special recognition on our website, your company name/logo (small) on our seminar t-shirt, and recognition presented at the closing ceremony.
Also, should you be interested, a company representative will be invited to attend the Sunday program: closing ceremony and meet and greet. Sponsor a meal for $1,000!
Outstanding: $400 - $799
Donating on an outstanding level, your company will receive a quarter page ad in our seminar program book (these are distributed to students, parents, schools, and other sponsors), special recognition on our website, and recognition presented at the closing ceremony.
Inspirational: $100 - $399 (program recognition, name of our sign)
Donating on an inspirational level, you or your company will be listed on the sponsor page in our seminar program book (these are distributed to students, parents, schools, and other sponsors) and receive recognition on our website. Sponsor a student for $200!
Impactful: $25 - $99
Donating on an impactful level, you or your company will be listed on the sponsor page in our seminar program book (these are distributed to students, parents, schools, and other sponsors).
*More than 4,000 committed HOBY volunteers plan and execute HOBY programs each year, serving both at the local HOBY affiliate level and on HOBY’s Board of Trustees. Due to the selfless efforts of volunteers and the contributions of generous donors, more than 9,000 students participate in national HOBY programs annually. HOBY gives students the opportunity to develop confidence and personal leadership skills, as well as the passion and commitment to use his/her leadership in service to others. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit and non-government agency, HOBY relies on the generosity of its donors to keep its inspiring and effective programs going strong.
